Bringing experiences from various different fields, Marc started his working career as a primary school teacher, moving on to manage wholesale businesses. Seeing his future in numbers (no, not numerology!), Marc commenced a Bachelor of Business in Accounting through Northern Territory University and when on to become a Chartered Accountant and obtain a Certificate in Public Practice.
Marc has considerable industry expertise in the retail and wholesale sector and gets enormous satisfaction in being able to assist clients in the area of business management.

Coming from a position in sales as a Divisional Sales Manager with Coca Cola Amatil, Sean is the Business Manager at HAS Business Solutions. With a wealth of practical business knowledge behind him, Sean also has a Bachelor of Business with a Major in Management from the Charles Darwin University. In the future Sean is considering undertaking further study to obtain a Masters in Business Administration and in addition to this has also placed running a marathon on his ‘to-do’ list!

Brooke Fraser

Having studied a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Brooke is our Senior Accountant and expert in personal income tax and BAS preparation. She is a woman who certainly keeps herself busy, as in addition to work Brooke also studies in the ICAA CA Program and finds time for the community - acting as Treasurer at both the Finke Desert Racing Incorporation and Central Australian Community Toy Library. All this while she is also a working mum!

Lisa Blakeley

Lisa returned to Alice Springs in 2007 after calling Darwin and Nhulunbuy home for a number of years. Prior to accountancy, Lisa tried her hand in a variety of management and administration roles with a focus on finance. Lisa completed a Bachelor of Business in Accounting at Charles Darwin University and is currently enrolled in the CPA program.

After completing a Bachelor of Commerce with the La Trobe University, Andrew worked for a year in Melbourne before deciding to follow the sun to Alice Springs. Andrew has brought with him an abundance of financial knowledge and every day is broadening this knowledge while he studies in the Chartered Accountants Program. Like the rest of the HAS team, Andrew is keen to assist you grow your wealth.

The first friendly face you will see when you come to HAS Business Solutions is Tegan. Tegan is our business host and started with HAS Business Solutions in 2009 after working for a year at the YMCA of Central Australia. She achieved a Certificate 2 in Hospitality and is a whiz with our booking systems; chances are next time you ring HAS for your appointment it will be Tegan’s friendly voice on the other end of the phone.

Tanya is a beach lover, moving from the Sunshine Coast to sunny (and hot) Alice Springs eight years ago. Prior to accountancy, Tanya worked in the building and construction industry, motor vehicle dealerships and advertising industries and has even tried her hand at cake decorating – a very long time ago. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants with expertise in family and owner managed businesses.

Things with wheels inspired Damian until he discovered numbers! Damian started his working career in the automotive industry, initially working in fleet management, moving on to motorcycles where he worked in sales, parts and administration. After 7 years in the industry it was time to move on. Damian completed a Bachelor of Business in Accounting at Charles Darwin University and is currently enrolled in the CPA program.

Michael France

Michael started his career as a book keeper, working for various councils and organizations in Alice Springs servicing the region. In choosing to develop his book keeping knowledge, Michael completed a Bachelor of Business in Accounting at Charles Darwin University and is currently enrolled in the CPA program. Michael’s area of expertise include taxation and small business.

Andrew Thomas

Prior to becoming an accountant, Andrew worked as a Police Officer, a Fire Fighter and then in the hotel industry as a partner in his own small business. At this time, Andrew studied externally, part time through the University of New England, completing a Bachelor of Business in Professional Accounting. Andrew brings to HAS a first hand appreciation of the issues facing small business owners.

Elly has been a member of the HAS team since early 2009 and has been an asset to our hard working administration team. Elly has expertise in the area of accounts payable, sales and general administration after a successful working history at both Great Southern Railway and the University of South Australia. Her appointment at HAS Business Solutions has seen Elly return to Alice Springs after leaving when she was 17.

Lauren is one of the newest faces here at HAS. She studied a Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management (Marketing) at the University of South Australia and while finishing her degree began work with SA Lotteries. Here she worked as a Territory Manager and Key Account Manager. She brings with her an understanding of small business as well as firm knowledge in marketing and sales.
